Zaragoza vs Mirandes by Jimeno
Zaragoza didn't manage to take all three points away to Mallorca, but the team will be satisfied with a point taken in a 2:2 draw, since their opponents looked a bit more lively. Visitors were the ones who took the lead first, in 39th minute with a goal from Munoz, but the hosts entered better in the second halftime and leveled up the result in 62nd via Culio.
Eight minutes later and visitors were once again upfront with a goal from Enrique, however hosts managed to level up the result only six minutes later via Lekic. Overall, players of Mallorca were the ones who moved the ball better and had more chances created, probably deserving a bit more. With this draw, Zaragoza remained undefeated in last three matches, having a victory and two draw - which puts them to fourteenth position at the moment, just two points less than play-off placed sides, but at the same time, two points above the teams which are in relegation zone. Defender Carcelen (9/0), midfielders Xumetra (8/0), Wilk (2/0), forward Dongou (0/0) and Buenacasa (2/0) won't be able to play here.
Mirandes, on the other side, is awaiting this game in a really terrible shape, since the team comes from fourth consecutive defeats, but not only that, they didn't manage to score a single goal in these four games. Overall, they are on a run of six matches without a victory, being now inside the relegation zone at eleventh position with just two points more than rock bottom placed Gimnastic.
What's worse, they suffered defeat exactly against Gimnastic in the previous round at home with narrow 1:0 result. Only goal was scored back in 56th minute via Muniz, while the home team had more of the ball possession during the match, but the visiting side was way more concrete in all the aspects. Scoring goals is obviously biggest problem in their game play for now, as they remain without a scored goal for 373 minutes of football. They've been having less than mediocre 0-4-2 record away from home and a point here would be great result for them looking at previous few weeks. Visitors will be playing without defedner Cendros (2/0), midfielders Salinas (11/1) and Eguaras (12/1) and forwards Oyarzun (0/0) and Fofo (7/1).
- Mirandes have failed to win their last 14 away matches (Segunda Division).
Zaragoza is doing way better at the moment and should be able to get a victory here. Visitors should have no answer whatsoever on attacking quality of Zaragoza's players and I definitely believe that the home victory should be the only choice in this one.
