Zaragoza vs Gimnastic by Jimeno
Zaragoza managed to get a narrow victory last time out, on Thursday evening when they welcomed Lugo in Copa del Rey match and got a victory thanks to a only goal scored back in 22th minute via Papunashvili. The game itself wasn't that open minded and neither of the sides looked very threathening towards the end of the match, with the players of Zaragoza surely being satisfied with the leading result.
As for the LaLiga 2, they suffered defeat last time out previous weekend when the team visited Lugo also, suffering 2:1 defeat, despite the team had the lead in the first halftime via Buff in 38th minute. They deserved the lead in the first halftime, but the players of Lugo were way more threatening in the repetition and sealed the victory thanks to two late goals via Seoane in 67th and Gonzalez in second minute of additional time. Zaragoza is now at relegating position with just four points earned out of five matches.
Home team had midfielder Febas (4/0) set as doubtful, while injured remain defenders Grippo (5/0) and other defender Lasure (no performance so far) and midfielder Wilk (also didn't perform so far).
Gimnastic, on the other side, comes froma 3:1 victory at home in LaLiga2 last weekend as the side managed to get a three pointer in front of own fans against Alabacete. It generally was open minded game from both sides, as both teams played openly and had plenty of chancesds, with the hosts using their chances much better.
They had the double lead already after first twenty minutes, via goals from Perdomo and Delgado, while the guests reduced the deficit in 25th minute via Zozulya, while the hosts sealed the final result in first minute of additional time vi Uche, even though the guests were pressing for an equalizer. This was first victory for Gimnastic in the new season, as they now still stand inside the relegation zone, with four points earned, one less than safely placed sides.
Guests will be missing defender Djetei (no performance so far), but also other defender Perone (4/0) and forwards Emana (3/0) and Dongou (also didn't perform for now).
Neither of these teams looked that well so far in the season and they both go into this match knowing that the final outcome might mean much more then three points for this one. It's something that should open up and spice up the game to the maximum. Value is surely with goals in this one.
