Iran vs Spain (By: Stanioooo)

Spain face Iran in the 2nd round of the World cup.

Spain was stopped by Portugal in the start of the WC in the last minutes after a brilliant free-kick by Ronaldo. This draw was good for both team's chances to progress if they win their matches against Iran and Morocco. So, goal difference is really important here for the first place, although it's not sure what's better- to face Uruguay in the next stage or the hosts of Russia. They have the advantage to know which team will finish 1st and which 2nd after the 3rd round, but it's important for both Portugal and Spain to win today's matches. I am confident Portugal won't drop points against Morocco, so Spain have to show their best and win against Iran. They will look for comfortable win here and have really good chances for that.

Iran are with max points after the first match after they beat Morocco with an own goal in the last minute. Now they will face the favorites in the group and I don't think they will have much chances to dream for anything. Spain just don't have the right to drop points here, because a draw can mean they will be eliminated in the group, even if they beat Morocco in the last round and finish with 5 points. So, Iran will play very defensively tonight, that's for sure, but Morocco showed in the start of their match against Iran, than the Asian team have problems in defense, especially when being high-pressed. Spain know how to use their chances. I also don't believe De Gea will make such mistakes which he did against Portugal and Ronaldo.

-1.5 AH for Spain is my pick here. Expect something like 2:0 or to nill is also a good choice!
