Portugal vs Morocco

Portugal are back in action after their thrilling 3-3 draw to rivals Spain. This time the European champions face Morocco who surprisingly lost their opener to Iran.

Portugal generally struggle to beat teams in big international tournaments, even with Ronaldo in their side. Yes, they scored 3 against Spain but 1 was a penalty, 1 was a goalkeeping howler and the other was a free kick. The first time Ronaldo has scored one in a major tournament.

The fact is Portugal have now drawn 12 of their last 17 matches at major tournaments after 90 minutes and they are generally quite predictable in the way they play.

Morocco failed to offer anything with substance against Iran and never really looked like scoring. Portugal are a much better side than Iran and they'll likely control possession which will restrict Morocco to limited chances. It's unlikely Portugal will score another 3 goals and Morocco will struggle to score.

So if the goals came from penalty and free kick, it doesn't mean that when you get them, you automatically score a goal..messi for example...this down.

Morocco and Portugal have to attack I can see a goal fest over 3.5

This is naive. I'm seeing Portugal win and over 2.5

Controversial. Obviously overs is possible but Morocco offered very little against one of the worst sides in the comp. Unless they improve, get a lucky penalty or whatever i believe they'll struggle to score.

Portugal just need to win and we have seen very few thrashings so far.

I always suggest going with your gut so you guys should back the overs if you think it's going to happen.

Good luck.

Morocco offered very little against Iran seriously? Who approves these tips? Come on you can do better

I really damn hate under in football. But you might be right here, Santos is a very disciplined coach and he loves well organized defenses. He will more often try to protect a potential lead rather than extend it, especially in this type of game.
