West Brom vs Tottenham by Neuro
West Brom is still undefeated from the moment they changed coach and Tony Pulis took over their team. Anyway, to the 0-0 draw against Everton in Goodison Park they should feel lucky that Everton missed a penalty. Now West Brom are three points away from the relegation zone and this was achieved with a lot of work lately. They play a full house defense, they give a lot of attention to set pieces and they try to take advantage all of the opportunities they may create. This is how Tony Pulis work, who has never been relegated with a Premier League club in the Championship.
Against Tottenham they count just one win in ten games, and this happened this season (0:1 away to London). In their last four games young striker Saido Berahino is on great form, scroing six goals to those games. Right winger Callum McManaman who came from Wigan (5 goals) is set to make his debut today, while defender Jonas Olsson (4 games), sub goalkeeper Boaz Myhill (1 game) and defensive midfielder Youssuf Mulumbu (12 games) are out of action.
Tottenham celebrated the qualification to the final of the League Cup, after a 2-2 draw against Sheffield United. Both goals scored by attacking midfielder Christan Eriksen who proved the most valuable player of the season for Tottenham, having already donated 13 points in total to the team. Before this game Tottenham lost the qualification to the FA Cup at home against Leicester (1:2).
Of course the main problem of Tottenham is stability and this does not looking to change, even if this season they will secure a Champions League exit. They are supposed to play better away from home as they are less stressful there, and they lost only twice to the last ten matches in the Premier League (against Chelsea and Crystal Palace). Midfielder Nabil Bentaleb is back from his duty to the African Cup of Nations, while left winger Nacer Chadli is back to the squad too, after a personal problem.
With the way West Brom playing recently the game looks like a closed one, but Tottenham is on some good form and in case they will score West Brom will have to adapt the game and attack. I think that both teams have the qualities to score at least one goal.
