Villarreal vs Bilbao by Neuro

Villarreal secured the position in the next Copa Del Rey with a 2:2 draw away to Real Sociedad few days ago, as the first game ended as their narrow 1:0 victory. Moreno took them into the lead in 26th minute, just to see Sociedad equalizing just before the halftime whistle.

Dos Santos brought the visitors once again into the lead in 64th minute, but again got equalized in 74th minute. Defender Musacchio got red carded ten minutes before the final whistle, but the guests had no problems keeping the qualification in their hands in an overall balanced game. As for Primera, they come from a 1:1 draw away to Malaga in very interesting and open game where they left a good impression. They are now at sixth position, having four points less than Champions League placed Sevilla, meaning that the victory is imperative here. Jonathan Dos Santos has returned with a good form and will surely be given a starting position in the midfield here, partnering with Bruno at the center of middle. Left defender Bojan Jokic continues to be sidelined with an injury from the start of the season.

Athletic Bilbao, on the other side, simply can't get into the right form and can't get positive results in consecutive way during the whole season. However, thanks to their 4:2 victory in the first leg away to Celta Vigo, they managed to get the qualification to the next stage of Copa del Rey, despite losing 0:2 at home just a few days ago.

Both goals were scored in the second half, in a game where the hosts generally looked passive, but still managed to create fair amount of goalscoring chances. As for the Primera, they come from a 1:2 defeat at home against Eibar, being now only three points away from the relegation zone losing three out of last four Primera games. Andoni Iraola will be re-installed at the right back position, with Oscar De Marcos likely to be pushed into an attacking midfield place for today's game. Important offensive midfielder Iker Muniain (19/1) is important absentee for the visitors as he is suspended. Substitute midfielder Ager Aketxe (3/0) is injured, same as forward Guillermo (11/1). Other than that, coach will field similar squad to previous match, being unable to change the form at the moment.

Villarreal have won their last 3 home matches in La Liga.
Villarreal are undefeated in their last 9 home matches against Athletic Club.
Villarreal have scored at least 2 goals in their last 3 home matches in La Liga.

Atheltic Bilbao simply doesn't inspire with any confidence all season long and can't get start with reliable results in any way. Villarreal has every chance to get another victory at home, against a side that is traditionally poor on the road and in quite bad form right now.
