UCD vs Bray by Isaiah
UCD great form was stopped with the worst, losing against St. Patricks twice with the score of 5:0 for the league and 4:0 for the cup. Anyway, despite those two defeats against the best team in the country at the moment, UCD had some great and unexpected results.
They won away to Dundalk 2:3, away to Derry 2:4, at home against Bohemians 1:0, at home against Shamrock 5:0, and a home draw against Limerick (1:1). With these results they gathered 13 points and managed for the first time this season to get out from the bottom of the league. Tonight's game against Bray is a very important match just cause Bray is a team with a common target with UCD. Defender Leahy (no participation), defender Boyle (13 games) and midfielder Russell (13 games, 1 goal) are all sidelined due to injuries.
Bray welcomed Mervue United on Friday for the second round of the cup, and they had a very serious performance according to the match reports. They managed to score twice in the first 25minutes of the game and they cleared the qualification without any stress.
Bray had some great and unexpected results last month too, as they run a very good streak of four games, where they won three of them. They won over Drogheda 3:2, away to Cork 1:3 and away to Shelbourne 1:2, and with these results they left Shelbourne much behind them. Now they made the trip to Dublin with perfect confidence. Midfielder Shane O'Neill and defender Eoin Hyland are long term missing due to injuries, while captain of the team midfielder Danny O 'Connor and his brother, defender Kevin O' Connor, are both doubtful as they are coming from injuries.
Both teams had some terrible games to the first two months of the season, but recently they took some great results. They are scoring and receivng a lot, seems that they are teams that they do not love any tactics, therefore i expect a high scoring game.
