Twente vs Zwolle by Meese
Twente didn't start the season in the best possible way, but the team improved in previous few matches and have climbed up to seventh position at table, just four points less than third placed PSV, having four victories, a draw and three defeats so far.
Positive is that the team earned three victories in last five matches, improving slowly and showing that the poor form at the start of the season is just coincidence. In the most recent game they played, the team took a point on the road against Heracles in a 1:1 draw, in a bit more defensive game than what was supposed to be. Neither of the teams were risking a lot, hosts were bit more concrete in attack, but all interesting we've seen happened towards the end of the first halftime when visitors took the lead from a penalty kick in 40th minute via Klich, while Armenteros leveled up the result two minutes later.
Twente is set to play in 4-2-3-1 formation with Unal as striker, plus Yeboah, Ede and Celina behind him as offensive midfielders. Coach Rene Hake will make the team without goalkeeper Sonny Stevens (who anyway didn't play so far), but also without midfielder Vincent Schmidt (0/0) and central defender Joachim Andersen (6/0).
Zwolle, on the other side, is nowhere close to their full potential for now, as the side currently stands only second from the bottom, with only five points earned so far. The team had two draws and five defeats in first seven rounds, prior they won over Den Haag 2:1 in the most recent game played. They completely deserved the victory and held the ball more, completely dominating the game from the first till last minute.
However, despite being better, they conceded a goal a bit against the flow of the game in 47th minute via Trybull, but reacted well from that moment on and leveled up the result just four minutes later via Mokhtar. Same player was able to bring the three pointer for Zwolle, after their complete domination towards the end of the game.
Players from Zwolle will be playing in 4-2-3-1 formation with Achahbar as central striker, plus Ehizibue, Marinus and Mokhtar as offensive midfielders. Zwolle will be without forwards Nicolai Brock-Madsen (2/0), Ryan Thomas (7/0) and Stef Nijland (3/0), as well as midfielder Max de Boom (1/0).
- There have been over 2.5 goals scored in 14 of Twente's last 17 home games (Eredivisie).
Twente is undefeated in last three matches, having two victories and a draw and surely coming for all three points here. Zwolle is coming from a morale boosting victory and definitely see them making some problems to the players of Twente. It should be very open game with both teams having more than enough chances to score twice or so.
