Twente vs PSV by Meese
Twente had all the chances to walk away with something last weekend and actually had a very good entrance into the match, even taking the lead towards the end of the first halftime via Unal, but then their defense collapsed the second halftime and quickly conceded two goals with respond further on.
Visitors somehow snatched the victory with goals from Hendriks in 53rd and Ritzmaier in 66th minute, with the players of Twente being with much more of the ball possession, but without concrete chances created further on. This way they didn't manage to build up on their victory away to Roda before the international break against quite an easy opponent, as the side continues to be around the play-off zone, currently eing at seventh position but with just a point more than eight placed Heerenveen and so remaining in a must position to get a positive outcome here.
Home team will be missing goalkeeper Sonny Stevens who didn't perform so far, but also forwards Dylan George (3/0) and Dylan Seys (16/1) and right winger Tim Holscher (13/0).
PSV, on the other side, comes from their fourth consecutive victory in Eredivisie and even though the team didn't have plenty of chances in the title race, the side now has just five points less than first placed Feyenoord and just two less than second placed Ajax, surely being more than interested into that race now with six rounds till the end.
Their three pointer away to Sparta Rotterdam was taken in an easy manner last weekend, as the side took the lead in 21st minute with a goal fro Locadia, but also sealed the victory already inside the first halftime via van Ginkel in 42nd minute. Players from Eindhoven remained with more of the ball possession and better chances created, but also somehow played just the way it was needed in order to save the energy. Team from Eindhoven should only miss midfielder Ramon-Pascal Lundqvist (2/0).
PSV is again in a must win situation and I'm fully confident that they will manage to get the victory without much of the problems. Twente is far away from their best form and should be able to match the opponent in offensive quality here.
