Johnson vs Jung (By: Iniestaone)

First round match from Delray Beach ATP between Johnson (#34) and Jung (#131)

Jung is 29 years old but these last two years have been his best in tennis, he reached a career high ranking of 114 last year and he has started this year really well. He was great in Dallas and most recently New York where he defeated Ramanathan and Tiafoe before losing to Querrey in three sets.

Johnson is in arguably the worst shape he has ever been in, he is still not fully ready to be the player he was before his father passed away which took a huge emotional toll on him and despite showing signs of a recovery during the first half of 2018, his last win was versus Istomin in US Open on August 28th. He has since then lost 9 matches in a row. He will, of course, break that trend any time now and its possible that it comes against Jung but if it does then I do not see that being with a big margin at all because Jung is just an amazing player at the moment.

The difference in form for these two guys cancels, in my opinion, out the fact that Johnson is a much better player generally and I think anybody that has seen Jung play recently would agree that he has a big chance of covering this handicap of 3,5 games. He has a playing style that is perfect against out of form players as he covers so much ground and is able to frustrate opponents by making them hit the extra shot every time and Johnson having merely three matches played this season means his groundstrokes will be stiff and he will be forced into hitting plenty of errors

This is my games for today, day after today:
USA hatrd:
Sandgren - Opelka - 9 PM
After 2 - 0 it's about time for Opelka. Sangren first service and second is good, also breaks point, but also Opelka has good stat in breaks and ace.
Garcia - Donaldson - 5 PM
I saw Garcia few years ago at ex ATP Indoors at Croatia. I feel him as a robot. Check it out how he moves a leg. Garcia first and second service is equal but I think its better to play over 22,5
Smycek - Lorenzi - 6.30 PM
Tim is a clear favorite in this one. As he is a American he must not lose. Under 22,5 for this one
Seppi - Tomic - around 7.30 PM
Andreas is up & down player. You never know what to expect for him, but Seppi is second chance to prove how good is he. At Rotterdam was weak but lets try again with him, over 22,5 games
Mannarino - Schnur - around 7.30 PM
Schnur must be able to show his fast moves, good service. The oddsis perfect and why not to try on him.
France - hard
Paire - Lorenzi at 1.30 not before
Simone is too old so I prefer to pick @1.45 on french player
Brasil - Clay
Pella - Souza - around 5 PM
Guido is a fighter and I enjoy is his tennis. For me is an winner in this one
Cecchinato - Bedene - 7.00 PM
Marco prefer clay more then hard but his coach is genious. I saw him at ATP Umag where he was so poweful.
Tommorow: France around morning 10,00 AM
Gulbis - Humbert - clear favorite here is Humbert.
Antalya clay early morning at 8.00
Popko - Lodato of course Popko.
