Garin vs Ramos (By: Iniestaone)

First round from ATP Cordoba between Garin (#95) and Ramos (#71)

I don't know if this match will be played tomorrow or Tuesday, or if it will even be played at all, but its listed for tomorrow at the moment before the exact schedule has been drawn so I'm putting it out there already because the odds on Ramos to win are really good considering the circumstances.

Garin played vs Rodionov yesterday (2/2) in the Davis Cup match between Austria and Chile. The match was played in Salzburg and ended around 19:30 CET. Which means that the Chilean team is most likely flying to South America as I'm writing this at 19:35 CET 2/3. Its just an assumption as I couldn't find any info but they've had to leave Salzburg for Vienna and then fly for 15 hours so its a reasonable estimate. And Garin's match will be played in Cordoba, which is hours away from any of the cities they'll be landing in from Europa. All of this means that Garin won't have enough time to prepare for this first edition of ATP Cordoba no matter if he plays tomorrow or on Tuesday.

Ramos on the other hand has been in Cordoba for several days now practicing and preparing with Berlocq. He has had a few days to get used to the surface and to switch over to South American clay. I think this will be a huge factor here.

Had they played on equal terms I think Garin would win this match as he is really climbing the ranking ladder now and he was excellent on the clay courts last season while Ramos was not, but I think Garin considers this to be a stopover tournament on his way to Buenos Aires where I predict he will play the qualifiers which means he can't reasonably stay in Cordoba for too long anyway.

Odds are dropping on Ramos everywhere and as I wrote, its very possible that Garin withdraws from this match but if he doesn't then I believe this will be his one and only match in Cordoba this year

I have some problems with connection. Error 525
I'll take my chance with Budampest Chalanger. Viktor Durasovic is good on Futures but in the area of south while Nino Serdarusic is good at nord. In fact, Nino took lot of tournament around domestic contry. So he is practicly at home. The problem is his favorite surface is clay so it is quiet risk to put a money on him. I guess I can help myself. @1.57 looks good to me.
Ramos should win!

I didnt see you question until now.
Well, I dont like Victor service at all but he is very strange player and very up&down. For example, he recievied Wild Card because of result. Back in 2015., Victor ( seed 6 } lost from Stan Wavrinka, then at 2016 as a seed 2 he lost from Bautiusta two years ago seed 9 lost from Dimitrov. On the other side H2H 4 - 0 Monfils never had chance be here, this is debut here while Victor is full by the experience.
Pay attantion on Copil - Romania and Bulgarian player.
You can try on him, why not, after all, but of course with small stake.

I had money on Copil to win vs Wawrinka yesterday at great odds so yeah I know he is great on these indoor courts in East Europe

What I am thinking about regarding Monfils is that he played the South American clay season last year and Buenos Aires is still holding wildcards, I have a feeling that he won't put too much focus on Sofia and might go to Buenos Aires which starts on Monday to defend his semi final spot from last year, which would mean he won't spend too much time in Sofia

Garin has withdrawn from Cordoba so this is cancelled
