Lajovic vs Cecchinato (By: Iniestaone)
I believe this line is incredibly low for a match of this stature. Pinnacle opened the odds for this line at 1.75 and they've dropped according to them evening out the odds for the outright winner as Cecchinato opened as 2.58 underdog and now stands at 2.56. The odds have dropped on Cecchinato on most places but he should still be the underdog despite being ranked quite a bit better than Lajovic, he stands at 20 at the moment while the Serb is at 48.
Cecchinato plays his best tennis on clay courts, just like Lajovic, but the latter is so much more prolific on hardcourts. He handled Mannarino in two sets before defeating Berankis in three. He's been very solid on serve in both matches, he even had a decent first serve percentage of 67% in the second set versus Berankis where he was bagled 0-6.
Cecchinato on the other hand defeated Stakhovsky in his first round in Doha, and astonishingly enough he was a 2.25 underdog despite being 114 (!) ranking points above him. Cecchinato recorded 5 aces in that match and reached a first serve percentage of 75%. He then didn't have to play in the next round as Pella gave him a walk-over win.
All in all, I think we will see three sets here with Lajovic edging it out in the third but this line is so low that we can afford to have one of these players win it 7-5 6-4 - which is a realistic result for either of them - and still win the bet.
