Kyrgios vs Cilic (By: Stanioooo)

1st SF match in Queen's between Nick Kyrgios and Marin Cilic.

I don't think I have to talk much about this pick. Nick has played 8 sets till now in three matches in London and 5 of the sets finished in tiebreaks- one against Murray and two in both of his matches against Edmund and Lopez. It's really hard for him to break his opponents on grass, so I don't think Cilic will have much problems in his service games. Cilic can face some break chances, even in the first set, but we all know how Kyrgios prevents himself in these situations- BIG serves in the right time. Cilic has one player who is similar to Kyrgios and that's Sam Querrey. It's not so surprising 1st set ended in tiebreak. He also played with Muller, who is excellent on this surface, but he is obviously not in form in the last months.

In their two matches till now, none of them was played on grass. On clay in Roland Garros 2013 Cilic destroyed Kyrgios, while in Marseille 2016 Kyrgios beat Cilic also in straight sets, but I remember he was in tremendiously good form giving no chances to all of his opponents in his way to the trophy. None of these two matches started with tiebreak, they played only one in the 2nd set in Marseille, but I think this will be changed today. Nick doesn't look too serious on the court when you see him at first, but the results are the most important thing and they are positive for him. I don't know if he has big chances against Cilic, still think the Croatian will progress to the SF, but I don't think it will happen easy! More than one tiebreak is absolutely possible outcome here.
