Tsitsipas vs Andujar
Stefanos Tsitsipas and Pablo Andujar have a match in the 1st round in Estoril.
The young Greek player performed really well in Monte Carlo and Barcelona beating some classy opponents like Thiem, Busta. Shapovalov and Albert Ramos, but I'm not sure if he will be prepared good enough for this week's tournament in Estoril. He's really young, only 19 years old and his tank should not be over yet, maybe bookies think he will be tired and that's the reason for such high odds for the progressing Greek. Other young players like Kyrgios and Alex Zverev proved during the last seasons they can achieve great results in consecutive tours without a big pause, so why not to see another stable performance by Tsitsipas.
Andujar got some great results in Casablanca winning the title but his opponents were not the best one- only two a little bit harder opponents(Sousa who's not in form and Edmund whose favourite surface is obviously not the clay). In Barcelona Bautista Agut showed Andujar how far is from thebest one in the tour and beat him badly 6:4 6:1 giving him no chances in the match. Andujar is experienced player, 32 years old. He was N1824 in February and now is N132 after winning the titles in Casablanca and one more Challenger.
I don't think it will be the easiest match for Tsitsipas, it depends how confident will be after last week's tournament in Barcelona. Yeah, he got a final there, but I think the big loss against Rafa is still in his head. I'm not sure if it can reflect on his confidence and pace on the court in Estoril, but won't prefer to play a straight set win for the Greek. He got so many wins in straight sets in the previous weeks, but I won't hurry up here in his first match in Portugal. If the match was in Spain I would miss to play it for sure, but in Portugal home advantage won't be on Andujar side and I believe Tsitsipas will snatch the victory here easy or hard.
