Carreno-Busta vs Tsitsipas

SF match in Barcelona between Pablo Carreno-Busta and Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Well, Carreno Busta is doing really well once again and proves his reputation as clay court specialist. He defeated some really tough guys on his way. Dimitrov was his last victim- although Grigor wasn't giving his best making so many unforced errors mostly double faults, Carreno Busta was obviously the better one. It looks so easy how Carreno Busta is able to be broken and then to break back his opponent immediately and level the situation on the court. He's confident and in front of his crowd in Spain I don't believe he will miss the chance to play against Rafa(over 90% sure) in the final in all-Spanish duel.

Carreno Busta is 11 in the world ranking with a chance to shorten the distance to top 10. This is his first tournament after Miami where he reached the SFs, so his form is extremely good. He's vulnerable to be broken but also to break his opponents multiple times. I think this is Tsitsipas first SF in ATP tournament and I expect him to be much more nervous than the Spaniard. The Greek proves that clay courts are his really favorite surface and snatched some big wins against Shapovalov, Schwartzman, Alber Ramos and Dominic Thiem in Barca and Monte Carlo. If he progresses in the future and starts making better results on hard courts and even better on clay, he could be part of top 10/20 for sure. He's only 19 years old lad, 63 in the ranking, very promising player, but we saw so many times the nervousness of these young players in big matches. I don't he's capable to repeat such a performance like this one against Thiem. Not in Barcelona against clay-court specialist playing on home soil.

They don't have previous meetings, but I'm fully confident Carreno-Busta will reach the final in Barca against Rafa if Goffin doesn't make a miracle.

Good luck!
