Swansea vs Manchester United by Luke
Swansea is having quite a decent start in English premier league. After three rounds played they have one victory and two draws. Most recently they are coming from 30 victory at home against York in English Capital One Cup last Tuesday evening.
After a surprisingly taking point enough 2:2 draw against Chelsea away from home in a season opener, they bounced back with a victory at home over Newcastle United 2:0 in the second round. Finally third-round the swans have walked away with the point taken against Sunderland, with a 1:1 draw. The visiting side took the lead in 45th minute with a goal from Gomis. However the hosts equalized in the second half, but the truth is that the visitors were much better side creating many more chances and surely deserved the victory this time. As every season they target to reach the European exit, so the team surely wants to impress against Manchester United that weren't up to their level till now. Home side coach Gary Monk has no injury or suspension worries for this game. He could recall Ki Sung-Yueng to the starting eleven however.
Manchester United on the other hand managed to secure qualification to the group stage of champions league. They come from a 4:0 victory away from home against Club Brugge, which granted them 7:1 aggregate score victory and ease qualification to the best European competition.
It was very important for them to get through to do group stage since the team is not playing it's the greatest possible level at this moment. However they do have two victories and a draw in first three rounds which puts them quite high at the table just behind Manchester city. However the truth that the team doesn't play so well, especially in attack since they have only scored two goals in first three rounds. Also not playing against very informed teams such as completely out the form Tottenham, but also against just mediocre Aston Wille and Newcastle United again whom they couldn't score in front of their own fans last weekend. Visitors continue without Phil Jones here, but he will have Marouane Fellaini coming back from three matches suspension early in the season. Adnan Januzaj will also miss this game due mid-week injury.
Swansea is having pretty decent recent history against Manchester United as a team has won in previous three out of four last meetings. They do look way better in attack and playing in front of their own fans should only give them some extra motivation.
