Stoke vs QPR by Neuro
Stoke City got quite comfortable 4:1 victory in FA Cup game on Monday evening against Rochdale. From the first moment they showed their superiority, opening the scoreline in fourth minute via Krkic. When it was needed the most, at the start of the second half Ireland has scored the second goal, while Moses secured their victory in 61st minute. Bennett only managed to reduce the deficit, while the visitors scored fourth via Walters in second minute of additional time.
Prior to that, the team took very important victory on the road against Leicester two weeks ago, with a narrow 1:0 three pointer thanks to goal from Krkic in 63rd minute. This was their third victory in last five matches, as the team made a significant difference to relegation zone and are currently now ten points away from the red zone. Moreover, team seems to be playing more than well at the moment, having only two losses (against Arsenal and Chelsea) in last ten matches, having a victory here as the only goal. Offensive midfielder Mame Biram Diouf (22/6) is back from African Cup of Nations, but fatigue might be a problem for thim this time. Forward Peter Odemwingie (2/0) is already long term absentee, while the team will miss forward Bojan Krkic (16/4) with a serious cruciate knee injury in a FA Cup game against Rochdale.
QPR suffered their third consecutive defeat, losing this time 0:2 against Manchester United two weeks before. The game was quite balanaced till the second half, when the visitors upped their performances, increased the tempo and deservedly took all three points thanks to goals from Fellaini in 58th and Wilson in fourth minute of additional time.
This was also their sixth match without a victory, as the team continues to be in the relegation zone, now being second from the bottom with only a point difference to safely placed Burnley. They had an extra week to prepare for this game, as the team got early excluded from FA Cup, losing out 0:3 to Sheffield United three weeks ago. Away from home they have 0-0-10 record and 5:24 goal difference, knowing that even a point here would be as great as a victory. Central defender Richard Dunne (15/0) is a doubt after a groin injury which forced him off against Mancehster United, while defensive midfielder Alejandro Faurlin (2/0) remains injured. Defensive midfielder Sandro (8/0), left full back Yun Suk-Young (10/0) and left defensive midfielder Armand Traore (13/0) are all in with a chance of returning from injury, but surely not playing fully fit in case they do.
Stoke come from morale boosting victories in last weeks, but also with a cost, losing their important forward Krkic. However, even without him they look to be much more serious side than QPR and should get the victory, probably keeping the clean sheet as well.
