Stabaek vs Odd by 20Legend
It is almost impossible to stop Stabaek from winning lately, with four wins in a row and scored seven goals in their latest two games. With that being said, they have also conceded four goals in the same two games, so some defensive work has to be done. However, it is something rock solid about this team who Bob Bradley is responsible for. They never give in no matter which opponent that is on the other side of the pitch. Some recent examples is the game against Lillestrom (3-2) two weeks ago. Lillestrom went 0-2 before half time, but Stabaek turned it around with three goals in the second half and took all three points. Another example is in their last game against Sandefjord (2-4). After taking an early 0-2 lead, they let Sandefjord come back with 2-2 after 72 minutes. However, a penalty and a counter-attack made it 2-4 at the end. This is why Stabaek is in 2nd place on the table at the moment. Another factor is their form at home (7-2-1) this season. Midfielder Kamal Issah (18/2) is the only player that is likely to miss out tonight.
Odd got another mind-blowing experience at the Westfahlen Stadium against Dortmund as they once agains took the lead. However, they got demolished by Reus and the other star players, which ended up in a deserved 7-2 defeat. This time it is some of an anticlimax for them as Westfalen is changed with Nadderud and the amount of fans is not comparable to what they have experienced recently. They beat Viking (1-0) last weekend which was a deserved result in a boring game. Both teams had a lot of possession, but Odd created the goal chances. Odd has no injuries towards this match.
The game is played on natural grass which is an advantage for Stabaek, even if Odd has done well away from home (5-3-2) this season. However, Stabaek is on fire these days and they have had one week rest, compared to all the travelling and excitement Odd have been through since last weekend. A home win should be a likely scenario here.
