Sirius vs AFC Eskilstuna by Isaiah
Sirius seems to be in a really decent form now, as the team comes from second consecutive victory, winning away from home against Sundsvall last weekend with a narrow 1:2 result. Obviously international break suited them well, as the side showed performance above expected.
They didn't enter properly into the match and were down 1:0 already in 12nd minute when Morsay scored, with the home team also being better during the first halftime and might have scored more, however players of Sirius reacted way better into the second halftime and were awarded for their fighting spirit, firstly via Arvidsson in 73rd minute and then in third minute of additional time when Haglund scored the winning goal. The team now remains at third position having five points less than second placed Norrkoping and needs to get a victory here in order to remain at the Europa League position.
Midfielder Johan Eiswohld (6/0) remains injured for some time already, while other midfielder, Stefano Vecchia remains doutbful for this one.
AFC Eskilstuna, on the other side, comes from another defeat, this time away to Malmo in a 3:2 defeat last weekend. It was their third consecutive defeat, previously losing to AIK and Djurgarden, as the team also now has all thirteen matches since the start of the season without a victory.
Even though finally result wasn't that negative for the visitors, class difference between two sides was more than obvious this time. Malmo was better in the first halftime and took the lead in 18th minute via Svanberg, however lack of concentration towards the end of the halftime costed them a lot, with guests reverting the scoreline thanks to goals from Eddahri and Ali. However, Malmo played even better and deservedly won with goals from Yotun and Lewicki. They are now at rock bottom position with just four points, which is four less than play-out placed Kalmar and seven less than safely placed Sundsvall.
Quality difference between two sides is obvious this season, with Eskilstuna really looking like a lower class team. Morale, atmosphere and current form are completely with home team and they shouldn't experience much problems here.
