Rovaniemi vs HIFK by Vicked
Hifk is now traveling all the way to Rovaniemi, where they are going to face the biggest dissappointment so far in this season, Rops. Rops has terribly lost all of their games so far and after the expectations for good season are starting to lurc. Even though they are reassuring that after the hard start they still are believing to finish in good positions after the season. Now in the home field, which is hard place to visit to anyone, they are hosting a team that has just promoted, should Rops start to show something good at this point.
Rops lost at home in the last round 0-4 to Inter in the game where Inter’s Hambo once again did what he wanted and scored a hat trick against Rops. In that game the whole team except Aleksndr Kokko and Mosa Yaghoubi were playing like sheep without any courage to take some responsibility from the game. Now when the coach is almost forced to let he’s stat Mosa to play after the twitter accident, there might be chances for Rops today. Mosa is a player who can make a difference in the game, he has a good awareness, great balance and he has skills and vision to be one of the biggest names in the future. While Mosa gets back on the game that should effect positively to Tomas Hradecky’s game too and even the teams captain’s Antti Okkonen has been out of form so far also. As there has been troubles in Rops defense, has attacking game also worried the coach. There has been no clear system upfront while they have just waited that Kokko will do everything by himself. Today the defense will get back Abdou Jammeh who will bring some peace in the ball control game. To make the difference after the bad streak is not about that they don’t have players good enough, it’s all about in their heads now and about the self-confidence, believing their system which has not worked yet. Today Rops is coming hard, aggressive and giving the pressure a lot to Hifk. Rops will be without Nganbe Nganbe, Chencinski and Majava.
Hifk is coming from the great 1-1 draw against HJK in the Helsinki’s derby where they showed that no one can take them lightly and they can play under the pressure in front of huge grow too. Injury situation is great with Hifk and the only problem with the lineup is that all of them don’t fit in the squad. Last year’s best scorer Eero Peltonen is in fit and will bring some options for Hifk’s attacking side. Hifk’s greatest assets are the powerful trio cm’s Lassas and Halme and attacker Sihvola. Next to 18-years old Lassas, who has huge talent, there is 30-years old Jukka Halme who is becoming a Hifk Legend. Halme has now played for Hifk in four different level starting from 3th division and rising with the team, all the way to Veikkausliiga. And the game against HJK showed that there is a reason why he still is one of the most important players for Hifk, he is a real fighter and still has skills to match on 1on1 situations. Hifk has prepared well for this game as they know that Rops is going to be very aggressive and dangerous in the corners and free kicks what they should avoid from giving to home side. Hifk is coming to play their own game and try to keep the ball as much as they can.
This is one of those games where the winner is hard to predict, even though home team has been terrible, they still has class to turn it over and start to play that level where they are supposed to play. On the other hand Hifk is now in a huge flow after the Hjk draw and they too have some really talented players. I think that this opponent will light the fighting spirit of the home team who has been pathetic so far. After that when home side starts to play and both teams are wanting all the three points, I belief that we will see eventful game with lots of chances created in both ends. That is why in this game I’ll go a bit against the odds and I will take the over 2,5 goals with good odds. Today should be the day when Kokko and Sihvola starts their goal streaks.
