Rosenborg vs Stabaek by 20Legend
This is the best game to watch all season for supporters in both camps as the result will decide the title winner once and for all.
Rosenborg is on top of the table as they have been all season long with 52 points in 22 games this season. They have played fantastic and attacking football all season, like they did in their primetime some years ago. However, they got a little setback in their last game against Tromso (1-1) two weeks ago. It was a game were Tromso was the dominating team several times during the game. After an early lead for Tromso, Rosenborg managed 1-1 just before half-time. The second half was very close with chances both ways, but none of the teams were able to pull off the winner. Rosenborg got the chance when they were awarded a penalty in the 88th minute, but Pal Andre Helland was not able to put it in the net. Top scorer Alexander Soderlund is missing out with a suspension tonight, while Tore Reginiussen (1/0), Mikael Dorsin (16/1) and Andreas Helmersen (0/0) are all missing with injuries.
Stabaek has without a doubt been the team of the season giving their amount of money and other recourses before this season. It all started with manager Bob Bradley arriving before this season and he composed the perfect harmony between young and experienced players from scratch. Their biggest name Adama Diomande was much of the reason why they scored in almost every game this season. It was therefore no surprise when he was sold in the transfer window to Hull on deadline day. Stabaek has also picked up a former Stabaek and Rosenborg player, as Anthony Annan is brought back. He arrives on a free transfer, but will not be able to play this match. It was not surprising loss against Odd 1-2) in their last match afte being on such a high note with four straight wins before that. It was night and day when you compare the two halves for Stabaek, as they were terrible in the first half and dominated the second half completely. However, they were not able to keep up their momentum for the entire game, something that Odd took advantage of in the first half. Apart from the selling of Diomande, no important players are missing tonight.
This is really going to be a match with pace and attacking play from both teams. It is obvious both are also motivated to win and I think it will involve goals from both teams. With that being said, Stabaek has shown their capability of scoring and being at their best agiasnt better teams. Alexander Soderlund (suspended) and Adama Diomande (sold to Hull) have been the two leading scorers in Norway, but both players are not involved for two different reasons tonight. This opens the game up for other players to step up and even if Rosenborg wins in the end, they will have a very tough 90 minutes against this team.
