QPR vs Bristol City by Shibby
Championship action for me after the international break. I generally don't like to bet the first week after an international duty as teams can be a little rusty, however, now they are all fully back in the swing it gives you a better idea of what results are on the cards.
The game will be played at Loftus Road, London and will kick off at 19:45. The game will see struggling QPR host Bristol City. QPR are currently sat in 14th in the table, only 4 points from a play off sot, however, not as good of a start as they would have liked, I'm sure! Manager Jimmy Floyd Hasslebaink has been under a little bit of pressure lately, however, he's had the backing of his managers. QPR have not lost in the league in their last 4 games, they've won 1 and drawn 3.
What stands out to me is the recent form of QPR. They haven't been great, however, they have scored at least once in goal in their last 5 league games. They've also conceded at least one goal in their last 7 games. QPR's last game ended 1-1 at home vs Reading, they took an early lead, however, a quick reply from Williams secured a point for Reading.
The visitors head into the game in great form, on loan striker Tammy Abraham has been in insane form. Bristol are currently in 5th in the table and flying high at the moment. Their last 5 games has seen 3 wins, 1 draw and a loss. The last game ended 2-1 against Cardiff away from home.
The game was a tough one, the reason I think was Neil Warnock, he is back in the management game and managed to get Cardiff City a massive 2-1 victory. Bristol know that they need to keep the pressure on the top clubs as everyone seems to continue winning, another loss here will see them surely slip further down the league.
City's last 2 games has also seen BTTS, which like QPR seems to be a recurring theme. I fully expect an open game and I also expect their to be goals, therefore, I'll be backing BTTS at a price of 1.88 with Unibet. Good luck all.
