Pro Vercelli vs Latina by Enzo
After few decent performances of Pro Vercelli, the team really couldn't stood up to the opponent in the previous game when the team got defeated on the road against Verona 3:0 last Saturday evening. However, it must be said that they had their own amount of chances created, but the players of Verona were much more concrete and looked way more mature on the field.
Hosts took the lead in 36th minute with a goal from Bessa, increased the lead just at the start of the second halftime with a goal from Pazzini, and finally, sealed the victory thanks to a goal from Ganz in 73rd minute. It's not much of a surprise to see Pro Vercelli not getting points away from home, since they continue to be typical home side, with 10 points earned in front of own crowd, in comparison to only two on the road. Currently, they are at 12th position, having three points less than play-off placed sides and remain in a must win situation here.
Hosts should be playing in 3-5-2 formation starting with: Provedel; Legati, Luperto, Bani; Germano, Palazzi, Budel, Altobelli, Mammarella; Ebagua and La Mantia.
Latina didn't manage to get all three points last weekend when the team welcomed Pisa and stood to a 1:1 draw only. They were the ones who took the lead in eight minute via Paponi, however from that moment on, guests were the ones who looked more dangerous and actually deserved their equalizer in 62nd minute via midfielder Mannini.
Thia match maybe was a good chance for players of Latina to get away from the relegation zone, but in the end the team remained without only one victory in Serie B so far. This point puts them at nineteenth positions at the table, with only nine points earned so far (1-6-3 record), which is still just a point below the safely placed side Ascoli. Away from home they have two points earned out of five matches played and it's hard to see them walking away with something against obviously a better side.
Guests should be lined up in 4-3-3 formation starting with: Pinsoglio; Bruscagin, Dellafiore, Brosco, Di Matteo; D’Urso, De Vitis, Mariga; Acosty, Boakye and Paponi.
Pro Vercelli will surely be looking to get a victory here and will try to attack from the first moment - something they always do in home matches. Latina, on the other side, has a bit more offensive approach and it's something that should lead to quite an open game. I believe that Pro Vercelli will be the one who are gonna suit such approach more. Hosts should get the victory easy or hard while I see the odds are valuable.
