Poland vs Greece by Neuro
Poland completely deserved their three pointer last Saturday evening, even though the team struggled for an hour to break the defense of Georgia. However, the game got more easier for them once they took the lead in 62nd minute via Milik, while Lewandowski had his show in last moments of the game scoring a hattrick.
With this victory, Poland continued being first at the table and having a point more than Germany, while Scotland sits at the third position having only two points less than them. Even though they have nothing secured yet, the team is going into the right direction and will surely remain strong favorite to take these two first positions that lead directly to Euro 2016. Home side will be playing with a quite strong side actually, as their coach announced that alikes of Boruc, Glik, Blaszczykowski, Grosicki and Milik will start here.
Greece, on the other side, is surely one of the biggest qualifying disappointments in this edition, with the team having only two points after six rounds, being stuck at the rock bottom position. Even worse than these two points is the fact that the Greeks managed to lose twice against Faroe Islands, which is quite an achievement for any European nation.
However, it has to be said that the team was better in the previous game last weekend against Faroe Islands, but once again paid the price of not being effective in attack. Hosts scored twice in each halftime, while the Greeks only reduced the deficit in 84th minute via Papastathopoulos. They are now left with only theoretical chances which are in reality non existing, while the atmosphere inside the team surely can't be any worse. Greeks are now having eight matches in a row without victory, scoring only three goals in the progress. No doubt that their coach will rotate the squad as well and will give playing time to those that didn't play away to Faroe Islands.
Neither of the teams will be playing with their best team here, actually with players of both sides wanting to finish up the game and get some so much needed vacation. Having in mind that the Polish side is hosting nation here, but also that they are in ten times better atmosphere, I can't see anything but their victory here. At least the chances should be much better than break even.
