Pescara vs Cagliari by Enzo
Pescara continues with terrible form and now it's obvious that the team will be having huge difficulties to get the salvation this season, even though they are only three points below safely placed Empoli. Their only victory so far came as a federation's decision in a game against Sassuolo where the opponents used inliglble player and without it, the team has only four draws so far.
However, they showed some signs of improvement in their most recent Seria A game against Roma, as they suffered only 3:2 defeat away from home. Overall impression sis that the players of Roma played as much as needed, taking the double lead already within first ten minutes with two goals from Dzeko and lowering down the tempo later on. Pescara managed to respond in the second half, via Memushaj in 60th, but Roma re-gained the double lead from the penalty kick taken by Oerittu ten minutes later, just to see Caprari reducing again three minutes later. During hte midweek, thet side suffered easy 3:0 defeat away to Atalanta in Italian Cup game. The team is now on a run of seven consecutive defeats in all competitons.
Home team will miss central defenders Hugo Campagnaro (11/1) and Andrea Coda (3/0). Michele Fornasier is back which means that Cristiano Biraghi should move back to the left back position.
Cagliari, on the other side, comes into this match after a 2:! home victory over Udinese last weekend. It was a hard fought victory for them since the players of Udinese didn't look naive at all and actually had more of the ball possession and chances created in the second halftime when they were chasing the result. Hosts took the lead in 35th minute with a penalty kick taken by Farias, while the visitors replied in sixth minute of second halftime via Fofana.
Sau re-installed the lead for the home side in 58th and Cagliari looked a bit more defensive than what they should be, trying to preserve their own goal. In the end they managed to do it, celebrating their fifth victory out of seven Seria A matches played in front of own fans. Their troubles come away from home where the team has only one victory out of seven games, but they are still doing well on the table - currently at 12th position with nineteen points earned so far - twelve points more than relegating placed Pescara.
Visitors continue to miss midfielders Artur Ionita (3/0), Joao Pedro (3/1), Panagiotis Tachtsidis (10/0), right back Luca Bittante (4/0). left back Nicola Murru (10/0) and central defender Marco Capuano (3/0) - most of them with limited influence till now. Important midfielder Daniele Dessena is back from suspension and should play from the first minute. Mauricio Isla should start as a right back this time.
Cagliari is far away from a perfect candidate to bet on them away from home, but the team still have lot more chances to get three points here, at least in my eyes. Pescara is obviously somehow short of Seria A quality and I wouldn't be surprised even if the visiting side take comfortable victory here. Draw can't be completely excluded and that's what makes the current odds so attractive. Guests will couple of important players, but still remain close to the victory in my opinion.
