Osasuna vs Alaves by Jimeno
Osasuna is having pretty rubbish start into the new season and the team will need to change something about in order to stay active in the relegation battle, but at the same time, it's a fact that they didn't play so poor for now and that they do deserve at least couple of points more than what they have at this moment.
Their matches are usually very attacking ones from both sides and even though their defensive lineup is nowhere close to a reliable one, their attack isn't that bad, having scored twelve goals so far, which is better than all the other teams which are close to the relegation battle. In the most recent game, they managed to surprise Athletic Bilbao away from home, taking a point in a 1:1 game, thanks to a goal scored in 23rd minute via Riera, while the hosts leveled up just five minutes later via Garcia.
Home side continues to miss defender Javier Flano (2/0) and forward Oriol Riera (8/2) due injuries, as well as central midfielder Didier Digard (3/0). Suspended for one more game remains forwards Emmanuel Riviere (4/0). Osasuna should be playing in 3-5-2 formation with Kodro and Leon as strikers.
Alaves, on the other side, started the season pretty strongly and were even close to the top of the table, but now it seems that the team won't be able to keep on playing in a great way that easy. They are on a run of four matches without a victory and have slipped down the table to fifteenth position with ten points earned, just a point more than relegating placed Gijon.
Truth to be told, they couldn't do much more in previous game when the team got outplayed by Real Madrid in front of own fans and suffered 1:4 defeat. Still, they took the lead in seventh minute with a goal from Deyverson and managed to make the things more interesting at the beginning, but soon enough Real upped the tempo of their play and celebrated the victory thanks to three goals from Ronaldo and one from Morata.
Visitors won't be able to count at important defender Victor Laguardia (9/1), while doubtful remains right full back Aleksandar Pantic (1/0) with a muscle problem. Forward Deyverson (9/4) is suspended. Visitors from Alaves should be playing in 4-3-3 formation with Mendez, Katai and Santos as forwards.
I see both teams aiming points here. Osasuna might be closer to the victory, but I don't see Alaves staying at the back and waiting for their chance only either. This game can easily go way more open and offensive one than what the bookies are suggesting. I find the odds to be really valuable this time even though they both miss some of their offensive power (player each).
