Norwich vs Barnsley by Shibby
Championship action again for me. This game will be played on Saturday 18th March and will be played at Carrow Road, Norwich. The game will be played between Norwich City and Barnsley. The game will kick off at 15:00 UK Time.
The hosts have recently sacked manager Alex Neil, who hasn't had the best of seasons. Many people expected Norwich to jump straight back to the Premier League, however, they now lie in 9th in the league, they can still make the play offs, however, they are still 8 points behind Wednesday with a worse goal difference.
Norwich haven't actually won since 11th Feb 2017, this was a 5-1 victory against Forest at Carrow Road, it shows you how strong Norwich can be on their day. When you look at the squad they have, it's pretty impressive. They should be easily pushing for the top 2.
What stands out to me is Norwich at home are pretty strong and rarely lose, I know they have drawn their last 3 games at home in the league, however, they haven't lost at home since December when they lost vs Huddersfield.
The visitors Barnsley have had a great season considering their squad. It's one of the few small squads in the Championship. I've also seen Barnsley twice this season I think they look ok, however, teams like Norwich should be beating them for sure.
Barnsley haven't won a league game in their past 5 games. Their last win came against Villa early Feb. They have also last their last two away games in the league, both games ended 2-1 against QPR and Derby. I think the game will end in a Norwich win, therefore, I'll be backing a Norwich City to win at 1.70 with Betvictor. Good Luck all.
