Norway vs Hungary (Women Handball) by 20Legend
Norway beat Denmark (20-22) in their last game, but without impressing as they struggled with technical fouls in the game all along. Denmark was able to take advantage of this in combination with the Danish goalkeeper Sandra Toft having a great day as well. One of Norway’s key-players, Nora Mork, has not been at her very best in this tournament despite getting high scores on most ratings so far. She has made too many errors for a player at her level and Norway will need her to be a lot sharper in order to fight for medals here.
Hungary has been very unlucky due to all the injuries that they have had in this tournament. Several of the remaining players struggles with injuries as well with goalkeeper Julia Kinga being a tough loss. However, her backup Eva Kiss has done her best and she has a decent level when she has her best days. However, it has not been a lot of them in this tournament and we have not seen it in Sweden just yet. They stood no chance against Romania (21-29) during their last game and the team has nothing to play for at this stage.
Norway can be able to ensure a place in the semifinal if they win tonight and it should be all the motivation they need. Hungary is clearly the team to beat given both injuries; bad defensive performances and obviously that they are out of the tournament already. I believe that Norway finally should find themselves offensively again, after a game with a lot of bad flow against Denmark with goalkeeper Sandra Toft being a wall herself.
The Norwegian team has tons of experience at this stage in a major tournament and they need to use all of it in order to make their previous technical errors go away. All in all, Norway should dominate with all the factors mentioned above. The Norwegian team to score over 28.5 goals should therefore not be considered impossible.
