Florida Panthers vs Buffalo Sabres

I wont be too long here. There are some + and - for this bet but in any case I'll trust to Buffalo Sabres cause odds on their win IMO are way too big. Currently we can find as high as 2.50 (Money Line) on the team that till last night was in a ten games long winning streak. That was franchise tied longest winning streak. This great series for Buffalo was stopped on their visit to Tampa Bay Lightning. But Buffalo was close even there against one of the best teams in the NHL, 5:4 loss at the end.

When team is in so long winning streak and then lose for the first time, usually we can expect they would lose the next game too. That's small concern about this bet. But I don't think this will happen this time. I believe Buffalo will be immediately back on the winning track. Simply, Florida is with quite poor record, 9-14. Even at home this team wasn't too great. They are at 40% winning ratio on home ice. If we cut Over Time win, Florida is at only 30% at home. Also note that this team is very often involved in OT games. Only five teams in entire league played more OT than Florida. I feel this game could be another such. This immediately means winning bet cause we'll lose this only if Florida takes the job done in regulation.

Goaltenders:

The last time I checked there wasn't confirmation about Buffalo's starting goalie.

For Florida it will be James Reiner whose numbers weren't too great in the recent games.

The bottom line, I expect from Buffalo to win and to secure profit on 2.50. Still, I'm going with this lower risk by taking +0.5 in regulation.
