Golden State Warriors vs Toronto Raptors (By: Miyagi)
First game at home for the Warriors in those Finals and a new experience for them as this will be the first time in 5 straight seasons that they don't have the home court advantage in the Finals.
I could make a case for how strong the Warriors have been at home in the postseason but I can't overlook those 2 loses to the young, much weaker Clippers. Nevertheless, the Warriors have, at least, been great offensively at home as they average 117.4ppg in the postseason so far, with 104p as their lowest (vs Rockets). Defensively, the Warriors allow 109.4 points per game at home in the postseason so far.
On the other side, Toronto has the second best defensive record in the postseason (Pacers 1st) but Orlando deserves some credit for that cause lets not forget that they scored more than 100 points just once in 5 games against the Raptors and NO, it was not because of the amazing Raptors' defense! For that matter, the Raptors allowed an average of 109.3ppg on their away games against the Sixers and Bucks for the Semis and the Finals in the East. On the other hand, they score an average of 101.2ppg on the road in the postseason so far.
Game 1 went way over the line (227p). Game 2 was meant to go over the offered line but...maybe... that was not supposed to happen after all, right? Cause against the flow of the game, the Warriors scored a massive 5 points in the last 6 and a half minutes of the final quarter and it took me about 2 minutes to realize that they were actually trying hard to lose that game (like they have done countless times already this season) but the Raptors were also trying their best not to take the lead during that time.
Anyway, the lines are low at 213 points and we have already seen that those series are meant to go around 220+ points (even Game 2), while I would expect higher lines in Oakland compared to the games in Toronto and we actually get even lower lines here, so, i have no doubt.
