Philadelphia 76ers vs Toronto Raptors (By: Shlin85)

Coming into this Game 6 Toronto Raptors are obviously overrated, I will side with Philadelphia 76ers to defend their home floor and push this series to 7 games, something we would all gladly enjoy and also NBA would love to have such an exciting finish. Maybe refs will side with 76ers in this one and give Embiid more calls than usually, wouldn't be surprised honestly.

Raptors have won last two games but before that 76ers won two straight. This is one of those matchups where ESPN and FOX media personnel are constantly changing their opinion back and forth. One day it is all over for Raptors because Embiid found his game and just two days later it's all over for 76ers because Embiid is hurt and Kawhi Leonard is playing fantastic basketball, nobody knows anything and they're just calling it as they see it, pure recency bias. At the end of the day no matter how good Raptors and Kawhi played in last two games it was because Embiid was lazy, Ben Simmons was horrible and he's not aggressive enough, Butler disappeared aftrt that one stunning performance. Remember that Lowrly is still pathetic, Gasol never managed to assert himself on healthy Embiid, only semi injured and sick Embiid. Overall this series is much more even than what public believes and recency bias is in its full effect with those two last wins of Raptors.

Whether Embiid is healthy or not he will push his body to the max limit in this possibly last game so that doesn't bother me. Simmons will be more aggressive as this is his last chance to do that. Butler should bring his veteran experience and combined with JJ Reddick deliver another great game for a grand finale in Game 7. Raptors will lose this game for me and this series will see 7 games. As much as Kawhi was unstoppable it was mostly because Embiid was lazy and sick, that won't happen today and even if his body suffers he will overplay himself to save game 6 and give Philly one more chance.

I don't like to criticize. That being said, I have to disagree with a few things.
''Whether Embiid is healthy or not he will push his body to the max''. For some reason, Embiid is always injured or in pain/ soreness and when he is not, you bet he is sick. Reality: He is just not good enough for whatever reason.
''Simmons will be more aggressive as this is his last chance to do that'' What makes you believe that?? Butler did urge him to do that before game 5... the result? He had wide open lanes to the basket multiple times but he preferred to pass the ball instead.

Watch game 5 again. Embiid and Simmons had a combined 13 turnovers for 5 assists and 20 points. Those turnovers were high-school level and even in high-school, they would be in trouble!
But that's not even the point... Just watch how 'lost' they were in the offense against Toronto's great defense, they had no fkn clue what to do with the ball, absolutely no plan! Non-stop! It was all about Butler and Harris against the world...
How can those clowns possibly change that 2 days later?

Unless 'the process' is to become a circus, the Sixers have to change a lot this summer... starting from tomorrow...
