Indiana Pacers vs Oklahoma City Thunder (By: Miyagi)
The Pacers are not in good shape recently and one of their main issues has been their offense and the fact that most of their players have been cold, with the exceptions of Bogdanovic and Collison who have stepped up and they are carrying their team offensively.
There is a misconception that the Thunder have a strong offense but a weaker defense, yet, the truth is that Oklahoma ranks 4th in the league in defensive efficiency and there is not much to separate them from the Pacers who have the second best defense of the league in terms of efficiency. On the other hand, the Thunder rank 15th in offensive efficiency with the 16th Pacers right behind them!
The Pacers are still missing their leader, Oladipo, while Sabonis who has recently returned from injury, is still playing through pain and has a minutes restriction.
George and Westbrook played 36 minutes against the Nets yesterday and that might be a bit of an issue but i can't trust the Pacers here since they 'get stuck' offensively quite often recently while that has not been the case for the Thunder, who has better options with Adams, Schroder, Grant who is always consistent on both ends, and they also have Westbrook in amazing shape, shooting the ball exceptionally well for the first time this season (51% from the field in his last 5 games) and of course PG. In what has to be a really tight game, I can see the Thunder having more options and quality offensively and that should be the difference between those teams tonight.
