Houston Rockets vs Philadelphia 76ers (By: Miyagi)
The Sixers, who are still missing their top scorer and probably their most valuable player, Embiid, are going to have quite a few issues in this visit to Houston. The Rockets have been on fire recently and they have won in every possible way, with great comebacks against the Hornets and Heat, as well as with total dominance over the Celtics and the Raptors on the road!
It is easy to understand that the Sixers are going to need a lot of offense today if they are about to get anything out of this game and although I have to admit that I also considered the cry-baby's (Butler) points, I have more reasons to not trust this dude in this game, considering his record against the Rockets and especially his games against them in that 5-game playoff series last season where he averaged roughly 15 points.
Tobias, on the other hand, is the real deal. I always had great respect for this guy and watching him adapting so effortlessly and smoothly to yet another team, with a completely different style, where he doesn't have the freedom or the ball in his hands as much as he likes and needs but yet is doing more than the Sixers could have asked for, makes me laugh on Butler's weeping! Tobias used to be the star on his teams and more dangerous with the ball in his hands but since he joined the Sixers, he proved that he can do a lot more than that as he has been great off the ball, getting out of screens and setting himself for those catch-and-shoot situations while shooting the ball with 40% from beyond the arc! Of course, with Embiid out, he has the ball in his hands and more freedom offensively while the first time that he failed to score more than 20p since Embiid was sidelined was in his last game against the Bulls.
JJ is not shooting the ball very well recently, Butler is also not shooting the ball well, Simmons is not shooting the ball at all (lol), yet the Sixers will have to score a lot and there is no better candidate than Harris who is also in great shape and shooting the ball much better than any other of his teammates. Tobias is playing better on the road this season, he won't have a tough matchup against the much smaller Tucker today, especially from beyond the arc, and I can see him scoring above 22 points and carrying his side offensively.
