Portland Trail Blazers vs New Orleans Pelicans (By: Miyagi)
The Pelicans' defense has struggled a lot recently and with the exception of their last game against the Warriors, they find themselves trailing by a large margin quite often. Portland averages just about 29.5 points per first quarter at home and they usually start very strong, especially against teams with sloppy defenses like the Pelicans. This line is a point over the average for the Blazers but for a good reason, as they are rolling as of late, with Nurkic and Lillard having great performances while McCollum who at least in the beginning for this game is expected to be guarded by Payton, who has trouble with good long-range shooters, is also expected to do some damage and the same goes for Aminu against Randle. The Blazers should score above 30 points in the first quarter in what is expected to be a high scoring game.
