Minnesota Timberwolves vs San Antonio Spurs (By: Miyagi)

The Timberwolves come from an embarrassing 42p loss to the Sixers (149-107) on the road and that was not the first or even the second time they allowed 140+ points this season!

To their credit, in the following games of each of the two times they allowed 140 or more points, they held their opponents below 107 points.

The Spurs are not in great shape recently with 2 wins over their last 5 games and their offense is a bit off as they average just about 110 points per game in their last 5 but that includes their 154 in double OT against the Thunders.

The Timberwolves, despite their atrocious defense, allow just about 107 points per game at home which is good to rank them among the top 12 teams. On the other side, the Spurs score 110 points per game on the road on average.

I see games in different ways rather than form, efficiency, and overall team stats, I'm used to looking at individual matchups and the Spurs' stars won't have an easy time here as both DeRozan against a very athletic Wiggins who is good against mid-range shooters, and Aldridge against Towns are not expected to do a lot of damage. The Spurs' bench is also not expected to put up big numbers today, so I can't see how they will cover this high line while the Timberwolves are definitely expected to do better defensively, at least for this one.

The matchups youțretalking about did not stop them going over 3 times already this season against the Wolves.
The fact that DeRozan doesn't play might do that job. though 😊

DeRozan and Aldridge scored less than 12 points each, in 2 of those 3 games. The Spurs scored less than 113 in 2 of those 3 games.
Please, guys, i have enough with what's going on already, don't bullshit me as well.
