Golden State Warriors vs New Orleans Pelicans (By: Miyagi)
Davis had an extremely low 17 points in 41 minutes in his meeting of the season with the Warriors and that game is one of the very few I've missed this season (haven't watched) and can't imagine what happened in that game.
The Warriors have a lot of trouble defending Center position ever since they lost Pachulia (and McGee) and most of the quality players they faced so far this season have crushed them.
Davis is in top form at the moment as he is averaging 34 points along with 13 rebounds and 3.8 assists in his last 5 games! The Pelicans are also in great shape as they've won 4 of their last 5 and they are back in the race for a playoff spot, which is something that seemed like a long shot just a couple of weeks ago, and that also gives Davis motivation as he was a bit out of focus with the Pelicans poor run and all the trade rumors.
Davis has a very easy matchup today and there is not much the Warriors can do at the moment to slow him down, thus, a realistic number for him to score is 30 points (or way, way above that if this game stays close).
He should have a boost in his rebounds as their second-best rebounder, Randle will find himself away from their basket (defensively) quite often against the Warriors switching offense while he should also grab quite a few offensive rebounds and I can see him above 15 total rebounds today, which is also a worthy bet. And he can have an extra 4-5 assists, so, the Pelicans just have to not screw up royally and Davis will easily go above this 48.5 line.
