Philadelphia 76ers vs Atlanta Hawks (By: Miyagi)

Simmons has been more aggressive recently, had to do also with the injuries of Butler and JJ who missed a few games, but still despite the facts that he had the green light to finish by himself and that they missed two very good shooters he averages 8.4 assists in his last 5 games.

The Hawks are a tough team for predictions, they might trail by 30p in the first quarter like they did last week against the Bucks or they could push the Sixers to their limits as they did against the Raptors and the Heat a few days ago. The Sixers are far from consistent as well, so this is just a crazy game.

I'm leaning towards Simmons' assists, first and above all because this is an easily covered line and the odds are way too high which I expect to drop soon! The Sixers could have another very strong start in the first quarter and score 40p like they have done already many times this season at home and Simmons will have a very easy task assisting his teammates and especially Embiid who apart from the fact that he has a very easy matchup today, knowing him I would say that he is motivated after that season-low 10p against the Hawks in their first meeting of the season and Simmons could get half of his assists from Embiid and do that in the first quarter!

Assuming that Simmons will stay on the court for a max of 27 minutes (could go well above that but taking the worst case scenario) he can easily have 9 assists, even before half time, against that Hawks defense which has been destroyed repeatedly against better teams but if you decide to go for it, take it while the odds are still high cause they will probably drop.
