Sacramento Kings vs Orlando Magic
Just like anybody else who is watching NBA games, I'm aware that the Kings have certain issues defending the Center position and it gets even worse against big guys that can shoot the ball from distance (Cauley-Stein and especially Koufos have failed big time to stick with their men in the perimeter).
So, I looked for Centers with the ability to shoot from distance and how they did against the Kings so far, this season. From those that have faced the Kings 2+ times already, Jokic, Davis, Towns, and Gasol have all scored at least 1 3P in each game while the other one is B.Lopez who scored 2 in 9 attempts the only time he faced the Kings this season. Opposing Centers (who can shoot from distance) take about 5 attempts per game against the Kings.
That started while I was checking on how Vucevic is doing in back to back games since I was considering his points for this one and I wouldn't have guessed that...He is shooting with 52% from beyond the arc (over 3.3 attempts per game) with 0 days of rest on a total of 7 games so far while he made at least 2 three-pointers in both games of his previous two back to back sets...and he already scored two yesterday!
Yeah, that was pretty much it... I'm going for his three-pointers at those huge odds.
