Cleveland Cavaliers vs New Orleans Pelicans

After their loss to the Jazz yesterday, the Cavs have now lost their last two games, both at home, by 25+ points! Today they are playing against the Pelicans, who are trying to convince everyone recently that they are legitimate losers, and the Cavs are expected to score a lot more than they did in their last 2 games, against Pelicans' terrible defense, and stay close or even win cause you never know with the Pelicans.

Cavs are expected to start Larry Nance alongside Thompson like they did yesterday since they have no other options to counter the Pelicans' powerful front line. Nance will be on his former teammate in the Lakers, Randle, and it is quite likely that he won't have an easy time.

Nance as a Cavalier has already faced and guarded Randle once, last season, while Randle was playing for the Lakers and things went terribly wrong for him as Randle scored 36 points (14-18, 77% FG) with 14 rebounds and 7 assists! Nance is once again expected to have trouble against Randle's strength and explosiveness.

Randle should have no trouble in the low post against Nance where he will probably draw many fouls, while he has started to shoot the ball from distance recently and Nance, who is on back to back games, will have a really hard time sticking with his man and matching Randle's physicality.
