Miami Heat vs Toronto Raptors (By: Miyagi)
Green is currently the top 3P shooter for the Raptors, shooting with 40% from beyond the arc and 2.2 3P made per game on average.
He was questionable against the Sixers, played 28 minutes in that game after all and is expected to go back to his normal 30 or more min routine.
The Heat are one of the most efficient teams in defense from inside the paint (4th best) and it is a common thing for their opponents to take many three-pointers against them to stretch the court as well as find other ways to score. Fournier, Snell, Gordon, Moore, and Temple, the opposing shooting guards in Heats last 5 games, all scored at least 3 three-pointers.
Green, who is a 3 and D player, is not creating his shots but is rather a spot up shooter and he does it well. The Raptors are going to need his long-range shots today and he is expected to take a lot of those and even more if their other main threat from beyond the arc, Lowry, won't make it today (back pain). Green's first game of this season that he failed to make at least 1 three-pointer was, strangely, against the Heat in their first meeting (0-4) but he should get the job done this time.
