Phoenix Suns vs Dallas Mavericks (By: Khum)

Regular Season

Phoenix Suns - Dallas Mavericks

These two teams matched up for their first game of the season. And the Suns won 121 - 100.

One of their only 4 wins so far.

Since then, Dallas is 15-11 straight up and 17-9 against the spread, while Phoenix is 4-24 SU and 9-19 against the spread.

Let me translate: for this season Dallas is the second most profitable team in NBA ATS wise, while Phoenix is the dead last in that ranking.

Last night the Mavs had one of their bad nights, and that ment lost money for me.

Dallas is still 4-1 ATS in their last five games, 5-1 ATS in their last six games vs. an opponent with a losing SU record.

In the meantime, Phoenix is 1-9 ATS in theirs last 10 games, 0-6 ATS in their last six games playing on one day rest, 1-5 ATS in their last six games played at home.

JJ Barea exit early last night and it's listed as questionable today for the Mavs, but they might get back Dennis Smith JR. which is also listed as questionable after missing some games aaaaand .. they wil have for the first time this season the living legend Dirk Nowitzki.

The Suns, on the other hand, will likely get back Jamal Crawford but they will continue to miss their best player, Devin Booker.

I expect Dallas to take last night as a wake up call and to be back on track against the worst team in the league and to make it visible from the first half.

Let's go green!

Yeah ... me thinking they'll get back on track and they going the other way.
Dirk coming back kind of messed up all the rotations in a well oiled machine. They gotta figure out how to play with him.
The rule of the tanking teams winning when least expected rather than winning more reachable games confirmed once more ...
