Minnesota Timberwolves - Boston Celtics

Since Jimmy Butler left Minneapolis the Timberwolves seem like a different team.

They are barely losing games and ... they turned themselves into a very solid defensive team.

Well ... kind of unexpected after the past year and a half.

Well, kind of expected one year and a half ago. Right, when the defensive guru Tom Thibodeau came as the boss of the wolves pack.

One more thing changed in Minnesota: a few games after Butler left, Wiggins numbers hit the floor.

Remember Wiggins? The no1 Draft Pick in 2014, drafted by Cleveland and traded for Kevin Love ...?

In his past 6 games his scoring numbers are 14, 13, 9, 0, 11, 10.

6-18, 6-15, 4-14, 0-12, 4-11, 3-15.

I don't know the reasons, yet the facts are clear: 27% shooting percentage is lower than low.

Now combine this with the fact that tonight he will face Jayson Tatum, last year's no1 Draft Pick, which happens to be already a very, very solid defenders for the Small Forward position. He is versatile, switchy, everytime finding the best defending positions. No wonder that the position the Celtics allow the lowest points per game this season is ... Small Forward.

I think Wiggins will have another bad day at the office and I will cash on his expense.
