Houston Rockets vs GS Warriors
Western Conference Finals, Game 7
Houston Rockets - Golden State Warriors
Great NBA Playoffs for 2018, as we are treated with Game 7 in both Eastern and Western Conferences :)
Last night, in Boston, LeBron muscled his way through for his 8th consecutive NBA Finals. As I find natural to expect when such stakes are on the table, it was a highly defensive game and the under cashed by huge margin.
Do you think we are entitled to expect something similar in the West? 'Cause I surely do!
After the first two games in this series went over, we've seen now 4 consecutive big under games.
Concerning the absence of Chris Paul or with him surely less than 100%, the Rockets' only chance to stay close is to slow down the pace and defend fiercely, as their firepower will not match what the NBA Champions can put on the table in a fast paced game.
For Golden State Iguodala and Looney are questionable, yet I don't think their absence or presence would change much in terms of pace and scoring, as the role of stopping Harden has been succesfully transfered from Iggy to Klay Thompson. Surprisingly, when Harden is chasing Curry's defence the stats for the Houston's superstar are even worse than against the rest of the Warriors.
Thus being said, I expect Steve Kerr to secure the perimeter for a Golden State win and under 208.5 points scored in the game. I have this @ 2.85 at a local bookie.
For you, my friends, I recommend waggering at Pinnacle under 100 points scored by Houston. The Warriors kept them away from this line in the past 4 consecutive games (in 3 out of 4 cases by comfortable margin) and I'm confident that will be the case once again.
Boston have scored 79 last night. How much do we expect from the Rockets tonight, when the best defense of the past 4 years will take action against them?
Let's go green!
