Toronto vs Cleveland Cavs (By: FairPlayBet)
Cleveland managed to steal the game 1 of this series and now is 1-0 up. They literally stole it, even they by themselves hardly can explain how they won. Namely for entire 48 minutes Cleveland was not infront even once. But the game went into overtime after terrible Raptors offense in 4th quarter and the Cavs took it after additional 5 minutes.
LeBron was not on expected level. His 26-11-13 hardly can be called poor game but still, it was a little bit below his standards. First of all I mean on low FG %, only 12 out of 30 from the field. Plus the King had only 1 of 6 from the free throw line.
Where James was the biggest disappointment IMO is game opening. Namely he was not so dominant early as we got used to see him in that stage. That's why Cleveland has scored only 19 pts in first quarter and was in even 14 pts deficit (33:19). But it wasn't only low contribution from James early reason for such score, but also Toronto was outstanding early on, especially their best players DeRozan and Lowry who have scored in the first period as much as entire Cavs' team.
Today, I don't think Raptors would be so great in opening 12 minutes, either I think LeBron would be so weak early on.
IMO this time we are going to see the same usual scenario when Cavs are in question and that's great game opening while struggling later on.
That's why one of my bets is Cleveland +3 in first period but I took also this over the totals bet.
IMO there are plenty of reasons to expect high scoring game. Namely, Toronto is the team with best bench in the NBA. Though, we didn't see it in game 1 plus in general the Raptors offense failed big time in 4th quarter last time. I think there is no way this is going to happen twice in a row. Plus, to be honest, Cavs are terrible defensive team but with LeBron in the right mood outstanding offensive side. We are going to see plenty points on both sides.
