Molde vs Ranheim by Isaiah
Molde remaining at the bottom of Tippeligaen 19 points far from the top of the league table and their only chance for European football is the Norwegian Cup. This is a knock out game for the round of 16.
Molde last official game was back in 29 of May where they qualified to the cup over second division team of Hodd (2-2 normal time, 4-5 won on penalties). The summer break of the league probably should help them to find back their old good selves, although this season, at least for the league, seems a wasted season, and the cup is the only way out for distinction. No problems with injuries have been reported, so we can expect Molde to field their best.
Ranheim qualified in extra time against Aalesund with the score of 4-2, but to their last two games for Adeccoligaen they suffered heavy defeats with the score of 4-1 against Stabaek away, and 0-3 at home against Ham Kam. Although they started the league great with lot eight wins and only one draw and one defeat, they are now appear to deflate.
Notable that both teams are playing better away from home and both teams are offering very open games with lot of goals, especially Ranheim who showing a very bad defensive line. No squad problems for Ranheim reported too.
Molde left with only a target for this season, the Norwegian cup, the shortest route to European football. They are coming after a break of twenty days that should work for their favor, and i do not think that they will leave this unique chance to continue to the cup against a second division team, especially when they are playing at home.
