MK Dons vs AFC Wimbledon by Neuro
After defeat away to Bristol City two weeks ago, Milton Keynes Dons immediately returned to winning ways with a 2:0 victory away to Yeovil this weekend. They have been in control of the match for the whole time, but only managed to score both winning goals in last twenty minutes of the game.
This way they managed to take advantage of excluded player of home side three minutes before the opening of the scoreline. Going into the Cup game, they already played this season against AFC Wimbledon, winning 3:1 in the Capital One Cup game. Coach Robinson admitted that the exclusion of home player made their job easier, adding that they want to continue in the same manner in other competitions as well. Outside for this game will be back Hogson (4/0), offensive Green (4/0), who are both absent for some time. New injury loss is back Flanagan (1/0) who got knocked in last game, but didn't play much in the season anyway.
AFC Wimbledon, on the other side, comes from a 1:1 draw away from home against Cheltenham, adding to their record second game with no victory. Hosts were better in the first half, opened the scoring in eight minute and lost some great chances to double up the lead.
They have been punished for it in 41st minute, when the visitors have equalized, while different image was seen in the second half, as the players of Wimbledon came up more determined and had kind of superiority over their opponents, creating more chances. Visiting side now have almost complete squad in front of this game, with only full back Smith (2/0) being injured, but it's a big question mark which players the coach will be using tonight as their position in League Two is nowhere close to perfect one, being 13th in the league.
MK Dons have already proved that they are far better team than their visitors. Once again, they are awaiting them in a better form and should be able to claim a victory in rather easy way.
