Manchester United vs Everton by Shibby
Barclays Premier League action for me. The game will be played between Manchester United and Everton. The game will be played at Old Trafford and will kick off at 16:00 (17/09/2017).
Manchester United have started this season in great form, Lukaku and co look to have clicked very quickly and as a result they seem to be playing more like the old Manchester United. The Manchester United that used to attack teams to death! They were so entertaining, especially at home that I used to love to watch them. In recent years United have been a little boring and seem to have forgotten who they are. Mourinho seems to have installed something back into his squad.
United do have a few players injured for tomorrow, Rojo, Zlatan and Pogba won't play, however, given their squad they are more than capable of quality replacements. As I type, Manchester United are currently sat in 1st in the league, however, City are kicking off soon and could overtake them at the top for a few hours at least :)
United have played 4 league games and have won 3 and drawn 1, scoring 12 goals and conceding just 2. The draw came on the 9th September and was away at Stoke City (2-2). Stoke looked solid and were hard for United with the way in which they play. Manager Mark Hughes always seems to do well against his old club.
United did play in the Champions League on Tuesday, this was at home and ended 3-0 vs Basel. United played a strong XI, however, also rested a few players for tomorrow I expect.
The visitors for the game are Everton, they are in 16th in the league. 1 win, 1 draw and 2 defeats, scoring only 2 goals and conceding 6! Everton I thought would struggle with goals this season, yeah they managed to get Wayne Rooney from United, however, he is no replacement for Lukaku in my opinion! They relied so much on Lukaku to score goals last season and they have just not replaced his with a top striker.
They have spent money and on paper they have a great squad. Koeman has brought in some great players, I just think they will take a little while to gel together and start performing to the level they can do. Everton did also have a game on Thursday away at Atalanta, the game ended 3-0 to the Italian side. This will have an impact on the squad and they wouldn't have returned home until Friday and have just a few days to prepare. The defeat just adds to the woes they are having. Prior to this they lost 2 games vs top London sides, Chelsea and Tottenham (2-0 and 3-0).
I expect Everton to put in a performance here, however, I can't seem them keeping United and Lukaku at bay for long and I expect United to grab a few goals at least. I think Everton could surprise United and push forward and I think they have a goal in them.
I think 2-1 or 3-1 to United tomorrow, therefore, I think there is value in over 2.5 goals at a price of 1.82 with Marathonbet. Good luck all.
