Lugo vs Sabadell by Neuro
Lugo is coming from a wasted victory last weekend as they visited Huleva on Sunday evening. They had a 3:0 lead until 65th minute, formed already after the first halftime, however at the moment the home side scored their first goal, visitors totally collapsed and were way too passive on the field, getting only a point in the end, with two goals conceded in last ten minutes of the game.
The draw against Recreativo Huelva probably brought some disappointment to their atmosphere, as Lugo looked like one of the strongest sides on the field in Segunda and were very competitive against all sides till now. However, they are still high at the table currently being at third position with only a point less than second placed Murcia, team that would get the direct ticket to Primera. Coach Setien still said after the game that he is fully satisfied with the effort of his players. Their only goal for this game is to return back to winning ways with the help of their fans against less than modest opponent. Striker Ivan Perez (10/0) is injured for tonight's game, while defender Victor Marco (10/0) is suspended with a one-match ban.
Sabadell was defeated with a narrow 1:0 result last weekend away to Cordoba. As a difference from previous games, players of Sabadell looked a bit better actually and had some good chances during the game, but were unfortunate to convert their chances in the final effort. Still, it was third consecutive game where the team stayed without a victory.
Despite a bit better performance, Sabadell stood for the fifth consecutive match without a victory, showing that their problems lie with matches away from their stadium. After a poor run, their distance to the dangerous zone has been reduced significantly and are currently only a point away from Jaen and Tenerife, teams that are placed in relegation zone. Coach Salamero however said that he is not worries and that he is sure the team will bounce back, stating that the season is still at the beginning. Still, he admitted that tonight's game against Lugo will be very difficult for them, as their opponent is in a very good form. Visitors will be without defenders Olmo (1/0), Pablo Ruiz and Goni, both sidelined from the start of the season, but also without midfielders Ruper (3/0) and Moha (1/0).
Lugo showed during last three months that they are much more serious team and simply a better side. Against Sabadell in front of their own fans, they should get the three pointer easy or hard.
