Leicester vs Newcastle by Isaiah
Leicester trying to regenerate and it seems that they are doing this well, as four days after the win over Hull where they stopped a negative streak of 13 games with no win, they took a 2-2 draw in Anfield from Liverpool, although they have been found to lose with two goals at half time. They still remain to the bottom of the Premier League standings four points more away from a safe position, but now they have a different morale and the FA Cup game is in front of them.
Of course they cannot deal very seriously with the FA Cup as they have a vital game to play next week at home against Aston Villa. Anyway, surely they will have some changes to their line up but it will be important also to achieve another victory and improve more their morale. Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is still out injured, while left back Paul Konchesky is finally available. Midfielder Andy King is suspended, while midfielder Danny Drinkwater and midfielder Dean Hammond will both miss the game due to injuries.
Newcastle had a disappointing result at home against Burnley. Although they managed to lead three times, they left the field with just a point (3:3). Coach Alan Pardew who got permission from the administration to negotiate with Crystal Palace is still a little problem for Newcastle who remain without a coach. Anyway, the relationship of Pardew with the fans and the administration was cracked long time ago, when almost the entire stadium called last October for his dismissal.
First choice keeper Tim Krul and second keeper Rob Elliot are still not available so the young Jak Alnwick will be below the posts once again. Striker Papiss Demba Cisse who is the top scorer in the league with nine goals is suspended, while left winger Ronaldo Aarons, attacking midfielder Siem de Jong, midfielder Mehdi Abeid, left back Davide Santon, right winger Gabriel Obertan, defender Steven Taylor and left back Ryan Taylor are all not available due to injuries.
Leicester will try to take advantage of their good morale after the recent good results while Newcastle has no luxury to rest players as there is a huge injury list already. I think that both sides will be able to score and this will be an open match with more than two goals.
