Las Palmas vs Eibar by Jimeno
Las Palmas comes from a very interesting game last weekend when the team took a point in a home match against Celta Vigo which ended 3:3. Guests opened the game in a much better way and took 3:0 lead after only twenty-one minute of game, thanks to goals from Wass in 6th minute, and two goals from Aspas, in 14th and 21st minute.
However, from that moment on, players from Vigo left the ball possession to the home team and looked a bit more passive than they should. It didn't matter much in the first halftime, but the hosts reduced the deficit in 52nd minute with a goal from Bigas, while the things got much more complicated very soon when the guests stood playing with a man less. Players of Las Palmas exploited it in next few minutes, leveling up the result thanks to goals from Viera and Boateng. After this point taken, Las Palmas has thirteen points earned, three less than Europa League placed Sociedad.
Las Palmas 4-3-3 formation with Boateng, Livaja and Tana as forwards. They will probably not change a lot of things this time in comparison to the last time out. Injured is midfielder Jose Artiles (no performance so far), while doubtful is central defender Aythami (4/0).
Eibar took an important victory last weekend, when the team managed to surprise everyone and get a three pointer at home in a 2:1 win over Villarreal. Even though visitors from Villarreal took the lead first, in 41st minute via Bruno, the truth is that the complete game was much more about their hosts, who completely deserved the three pointer.
Players of Eibar were way more concrete with the chances created, but it took them eighty minutes to score the first goal via Ramis, while Leon scored the winning goal seven minutes later. Eibar is now at eight position with a point less than sixth placed Sociedad and a victory here might really mean that their start in the season is close to a perfect one for a club of their reputation.
Eibar is coming here in 4-4-2 formation with Enrich and Kike as forwards. Kiki Garcia is one booking away from suspension, but should start upfront.
Las Palmas are winless in last six matches in Spanish top league, after losing two and drawing in four games. The team will surely be trying to attack here from first minute, while Eibar have only lost twice in last nine matches, getting the correct scores with offensive quality as well. Goals might come even easier here than what the bookies expect.
